Park of the Murgia body is a public organization that manages a protected area included in Natura 2000 network, in the Mediterranean biogeographical region of Southern Italy .
Among the activities carried out there are those of search and analysis of biotic and abiotic aspects of the river basin environment. In particular, it intends to develop projects focused to degraded habitats and species from the state of pollution of surface water body that falls within the park. Intends, therefore, to conduct the study of the scenario which would appear with a changed contribution of stakeholders to the state of water quality. Intends, within the same project, to study the most suitable solutions for public administrations that manage water discharges from urban sewage and for companies that flow discharges into water, including the issue of the design and implementation of appropriate tender plants reusing wastewater in agriculture.

The organisation has already been coordinator of the LIFE+ ARUPA project aimed at conservation actions of some protected species of amphibians and reptiles.

The organisation is open to RIA or IA project, but also ERA-net Cofund with the aim of developing a decontextualized approach model applicable to similar environmental scenarios.
