TECNAN offers expertise as manufacturer of nanoparticles of different typologies from recycled materials.
TECNAN is a leading company in the production and commercialization of its own nano based products and nanomaterials and it is set up internationally as supplier in Europe, Asia and South America.
TECNAN has evolved in an innovative company pioneer in the development of technology and ready to use nano-based products with functional properties for a large range of substrates such as porous materials, metal or glass providing high quality properties such as water repellency, anti-stain properties, self-cleaning, easy-to-clean, corrosion protection or heat barrier.
In this sense, TECNAN counts on the highest equipment to produce nanoparticles by Flame-Spray-Pyrolysis (FSP) technique worldwide, with a capacity to obtain between 1 and 5kg/h of nanoparticles.
The company is able to design and produce very different and complex nanomaterials based on metal oxides, simple, complex mixed oxides and doped oxides including noble metals. These nanoparticles have a very high purity and narrow size distribution, where the control of the size is possible by selecting the required process parameters. We have previously developed silver doped oxides such as ZnO/Ag, perovskites like SrTiO3 or LaFeO3, transparent conductors for electrodes like Indium Tin Oxide or Aluminium Zin Oxide, Yttrium Stabilised Zirconia, or indeed core-shell structures.
Moreover, TECNAN is able to reuse recycled materials for the production of different typologies of nanoparticles giving an added value to the recycled materials.
In addition to our technology, the company has a great expertise in R&D activities and we have participated as industrial producer in a large number of projects, both at national and international level. The technical capacities and production facilities of TECNAN have been involved in several European projects. The company is very active in EU research, having already participated in the following projects: “ADVANCE-FSP” CP-FP 228885-2, FP7-NMP-2011-280535 “SCAFFOLD” focused on nanosafety related to the use of nanoproducts in construction sector, NMP2-SE-2012-310312 “RECYVAL-NANO”, NMP3-SL-2011-280890 “NEXTGENCAT” related with catalyst field, FCH-JU-2011-303435 “ARTYPHICTION”, H2020-SC5-2014-641927 “INFINITY” and H2020-NMP-PILOTS-2015-685937 “DIMAP”, related both with the production of nano-based inks for different applications and H2020-NMP-2014-646178 “NANO-CATHEDRAL” for restoration field.
